On November 24, it was reported that version 3.1.20 of WeCom IOS supports migration from WeChat Group to WeCom Group and that users can use WeCom to manage WeChat group chats. This version is reportedly still in beta.
The migration method is: go to WeCom, search “Accept work messages in WeChat”, click “Go to WeChat to select more work communities”, jump from WeCom to WeChat interface, and click “Select group chat” to select one or more communities.
After migration, the operator’s own WeCom account will be added to the group chat and become the owner of the group, and the personal WeChat will be removed from the group chat. The system also adds group members who do not use WeCom to the corporate address book and notifies group members to download WeCom. If you want to invite the group owner back to the personal WeChat, you just need to invite him again and switch to the personal WeChat, but the external group of WeCom cannot be made the WeChat group again.
