On January 18, global software giants Salesforce and Alibaba Cloud jointly released the software “Salesforce Social E-commerce” for the Chinese market. This is the first new product in the Chinese market after Salesforce reached a strategic cooperation with Alibaba Cloud.

The trend of social e-commerce has swept the world, among which China has the strongest momentum. According to the report of eMarketer, a market research institution, China’s social e-commerce grew by 44% in 2020 and is expected to grow by 35.5% in 2021 to more than 2 trillion yuan.
